🍬6yoM (NKMA) presents lethargic with vomiting x 3 days. Parents state difficulty maintaining hydration and child hasn’t been acting “normal”. BG 320 mg/dL, pH 7.1, (+) BOH, (+) urine ketones. Dx: Pediatric DKA. Fluids initiated and insulin therapy ordered.
